Dokdo, Nawanagar, Machine-struck

Copper 1 Dokdo (1/24 of a kori) coin of the Princely State of Nawanagar. These are machine struck coins, and therefore circular and uniform. The words 'Shree Jamji' can be partly seen on some of these coins. Jam Saheb was the title of rulers of Nawanagar (also known as Jamnagar). The date is 978 - as per the Islamic calendar (frozen year).
