Dhinglo, Nawanagar, pre-1850
Copper 1 Dhinglo (1.5 Dokdo, 1/16 kori) coin of the Princely State of Nawanagar. These coins were minted pre-1850 and are hand-struck - accounting for their relatively crude make, compared to the later, machine-struck versions. The words 'Shree Jamji' appear on the obverse in Devnagari - Jam Saheb was the title of rulers of Nawanagar (also known as Jamnagar).
