1 Rupee, KG Ambegaonkar, 1950, Uncirculated, Graded 64

1 Rupee Banknote of 1950, signed by Finance Secretary KG Ambegaonkar. This was the second banknote issued after independence, and is identical to the first issue (signed by KRK Menon). The coin bearing the image of George VI was replaced by the Ashok Stambh (pillar). The reverse has a circular decorative motif, as well as the denomination written in eight Indian languages.

This note has been graded 64 by PMCS, and is in uncirculated condition. The note is in uncirculated condition, and has some damage from the staples used to keep the original bundle together. Other than that, there are no folds or any signs of use.
