1/2 Anna, Indore
Half Anna (1/32 rupee) copper coin of the Princely State of Indore. These are hand-struck coins, minted in 1870 AD - before Indore started milling coins. The coins are in the name of Shah Alam II, the Mughal ruler. The figure of a reclining bull, which is also seen in the later, machined coins of Indore, can be seen in these coins.
