Twenty Rupee banknote of India, printed in 1972. This was the third note of the denomination. The note is red and orange, with a picture of the old Parliament house on the reverse. The obverse carries the denomination '20' in large numerals in the middle, with the watermark window to the left and India's emblem to the right. The language panel on the reverse has the denomination in thirteen Indian languages - the Kashmiri text was incorrect in the first two issues was corrected in this issue. These notes were printed in very limited numbers - with prefixes C50-D99 - making it a scarce issue.
