100 Rupees, India, 1951, B Rama Rau, PMCS 25

  • Rs. 16,000.00

100 Rupee banknote of Republic of India (1951), signed by B Rama Rau. This was the third design in the series of 100 rupee notes of independent India. India's national emblem is on the right side (obverse) and in the watermark window to the left. The obverse features two tusker elephants. The left side has '100 rupees' written in seven Indian languages. RBI's seal with the tiger and the palm is just under the elephants. This particular note has serial number A - meaning it was printed by the Bombay circle of the Reserve Bank of India.

The primary change is the serial number (top right, bottom left), which is in red. This design has the incorrect spelling 'sau rupya' on the front of the note.

This is a RARE note. Read more about it here

The note is graded 25 by PMCS India. The note you get will be the note in the picture.
