Silver Rupee, Pratapgarh, Sawant Singh & Duleep Singh
Silver 1 rupee coins of the Indian Princely State of Pratapgarh, minted during the reign of Sawant Singh (dated 1199 AH -1785 AD) and Duleep Singh (dated 1236 AH - 1821 AD). The kingdom of Pratapgarh - occupying the present day district of Pratapgarh, Rajasthan, was established in the 15th century, by the younger brother of Rana Kumbha of Chittorgarh. The state was dissolved in 1949 AD, when it merged into the Indian Union.
