1 Paisa, Ratlam, Ranjit Singh (KM# 24)
1 paisa copper coin of the Princely State of Ratlam, minted in 1942 AD. Coin has the image of Lord Hanuman walking towards the left, and the name of the state - Ratlam, underneath. These coins carry the date Vikram Samvat 1947 - corresponding to 1890 AD. Compared to the subsequent issues (KM# 25), these coins are thicker.
Ratlam was a part of the Malwa agency of Central India and a 13 gun princely state in the British era.
