10 Escudo, Mozambique, 1968-74

10 Escudo copper-nickel coin of Mozambique, part of the Portuguese empire. These coins were minted from 1968-1974 - the design is very similar to the Indo-Portuguese escudo coins of the 1950s. The obverse carries the Portuguese-Mozambique coat of arms while the reverse carries Portugal's coat of arms.
