1 Dokdo, Khengarji III/Victoria, 1883-88
Copper 1 Dokdo (1/24 kori) coin of the Princely State of Kutch, issued jointly in the name of Khengarji III, the ruler of Kutch and Victoria, Empress. These coins carry the name of the local ruler on one side, along with the date in Vikram Samvat in Devnagari script, while the other side is in Persian, with the name of the British ruler and the date as per the English calendar. The trishul (trident), one of the embelems of Kutch state, is on one side, while katar (dagger) can be seen on the other. These coins were minted from 1883-88 AD.
