2 Rupees, British India, CD Deshmukh, Graded (Uncirculated 64)
Two rupee banknote of British India, signed by CD Deshmukh, the first Indian governor of the Reserve Bank of India, and the future Finance Minister. The note carries a left looking portrait of King George VI on the right side, and the watermark window - which has a right facing watermark of the King. The reverse of the note says '2 rupees' in eight Indian languages.
