10 Rupee, Burma Overprint, Burma Currency Board, Graded PMCS 30
10 Rupee banknote of Burma - an overprint of 'Burma Currency Board' on a regular 10 rupee British Indian banknote (4.6.1). The note bears a front-facing portrait of a crowned King George VI to the right, and the watermark panel to the left. The governor's signature is just below the watermark window. The reverse has the image of a sailboat or a dhow - which was used up to the 1980s. The denomination, 'Ten Rupees', is mentioned in six Indian languages.
