1 Mohru banknote of Nepal, issued from 1953-60. This was the first banknote to be issued in Nepal. The obverse features a temple, with a mountain range in the background, and the front of the Nepali 1 rupee coin. The reverse features a holy vase (kalash), and the reverse of the 1 rupee coin. 1
